GOD MADE THE WORLD.

Where did the fig tree receive its fruit,

And birds their coloured wings?

Who made the sky above so blue?

 What makes the skylark sing?

How did the flowers receive their scent?

What makes the stars to shine?

Who makes the snowdrops snow white?

Who put gold and silver in mines?

How does the sun give out its heat?

Why do the snowflakes fall?

Who made the wind begin and stop,

The moon a silver ball?

Why are there fish just one inch long,

Yet whales are very large,

And sparrows are such tiny birds,

But elephants are huge?

Who gave the violet its hue,

Who made the lily white,

Red strawberries and yellow corn,

And all good things to eat?

How does a baby one day old

Know how to drink its milk?

Who made the tiny, slithery worm

Able to spin its silk?

What makes a rainbow shine through rain?

Who gave your hair its curl?

Who made the wonderful body

Of every boy and girl?

Who made thousands of grains of sand

That lie on each sea shore?

Who made the sturdy, feathered wings

That make the eagle soar?

The answers found in Genesis,

And in John one, verse two:

For God Himself made everything,

He made the world, and YOU.

And every single thing we’ve named

( And nothing is left out )

The Lord of heaven created it,

Of that there is no doubt.

So open now your heart to God

And praise His holy Name,

And thank Him for the world He made,

And Jesus Christ, Who came.
