ZION 4 COUNT THE TOWERS. HOLY TRINITY.

The following truths show how the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) operate.

'On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, 'if any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. 'This he spoke, concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive (a gift of the Father) because Jesus was not yet glorified.' (John 7:37) Christ quenches our deepest spiritual thirst: the Father waited to give the Holy Spirit, until His beloved Son had been crucified and raised from the dead. The Trinity guaranteed the fulfilment of our redemption, His substitutionary death and majestic resurrection: and the released Holy Spirit.

After that celebrated Emmaus road eye-opener, our Lord said, 'Behold I (Christ) send the promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem, until you are endued with power from on high.' (Luke 24:49) Our Lord proved he was risen from the dead by sending the immeasurable gift of the Holy Spirit, whom the Father had promised. Notice and marvel at the interlocking ministry of the Triunity. Are you endued wit power from on high?

On the day of Pentecost, preached that Christ was risen from the dead, 'This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. Therefore, being by the right hand of God exalted and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this, which you now see and hear.' (Acts 2:33) The Father raised the Son from the dead; honoured Him at His right hand; released to the Son the Holy Spirit; and poured Him on the Jerusalem crowd. Perfect affinity in the Trinity.

The bible recorded the one great sermon Stephen preached: concerning Abraham, the patriarchs, Moses gloriously leading the children of Israel from the slavery; and then how Israel had rebelled against the true God. 'When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. And then the overwhelming vision, 'He, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the (Shekinah or heavenly) glory of God and (to his delight) Jesus, (His Lord) standing (not sitting) at the right hand of God; and said, 'Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God.'

Stephen had been possessed by the Spirit of God, enabling him to see the exalted Son of God standing to embrace him; and the eternal Father at heaven's throne. Harmonious Three -in- one. Their religious anger erupted, 'They cried out with a loud voice, stopping their ears (lest they hear more of His dying testimony) and ran at him with one accord. (Acts 7:54) Stephen was viciously stoned by godless men.

In Romans 8, Paul attributed the resurrection to the Holy Spirit; 'If the Spirit of HIM (the Father ), who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ (our Messiah ) from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through the Spirit who dwells in you.' (11) Again the Father, the Spirit and the Son work amicably, even in our earthly bodies, daily bringing resurrection life to the believer. We are deeply privileged as the Lord's to enjoy these immeasurable rewards. 200 million saints are persecuted for their faith in our Lord Jesus, many of whom enjoy this blessed empowerment of spiritual life, sustaining them in horrendous privation.

The Triunity has established their witness among the millions of the redeemed in heaven, just as 'The three bear witness in earth; the Spirit, the water (the Word of God) and the redemptive blood. (1 John 5:8). John writes, 'There are three, who bear witness in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.' (v7) These blessed members of the Godhead unite in affirming the great redemptive truths of salvation through the blood of the Lamb, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings. Abandon and discard those who have the nerve to challenge these eternal truths, when the Trinity has unitedly asserted it. Their Great White throne judgment is inescapable. You are secure.

H2O, a combination of two gases, volatile and enriching, exists in three forms; ice or mountain snow (six-sided crystals, no two of which are similar), speaking of the heavenly Father; water, speaking of the Son of God the water of life, flowing to give life to each recipient; and pervasive steam (illustrating the Holy Spirit), expanding to 1600 times the space of water to supply power. Our Creator provided this perfect example of the Trinity in the most common substance on earth, H2O.

Paul met the elders of the Ephesian church on the beach, with this legacy of truth, 'I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God,' He poured our his heart further, 'Take heed to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood,' (Acts 20;28) The Triunity has a diverse office: God's Spirit chose the elders or overseers; the church belonged to God the Father; while the Son of God had shed His precious blood to purchase the church as His bride. Mark it well in your bible.

The Trinity safeguards the Name of Jesus, our dear Saviour. In 1 Corinthians 12:3. Paul wrote, 'No one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed.' That excellent name will never be demeaned, nor bring damnation on the speaker. All heaven is alerted when we call Jesus Lord or God, for they yearn that believers lift His Name high, it follows only when the Holy Spirit empowers us to do so.

Paul's second letter to the Corinthian church concludes with a powerful benediction. 'The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.' What riches flow in this united stream? 'We know the grace of God, that though he was rich, yet for your sake He became poor.' Christ on the cross displayed the eternal love of the Father God. The indwelling Spirit unites us into a rich spiritual union, regardless of colour, culture, language or circumstances. Thank God for the Trinity.
