TEACH YOUR BIBLE TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.

Harrold and Gwenda Steward, octogenarians, formerly in family medicine and home maker by God’s grace,  have conducted a web site, christian family bible studies &stories, which has reached many countries. In 12 months, they recorded 153,000 hits, 119,000 files ( or studies ) have been read, 25, 500 pages absorbed and 6,800 visits.

How did it originate?  I had prayed that Gwenda’s early writings from  Java in the fifties , through New Life’s  founding editor, Ed Daley ’s warm encouragement, Christian Woman, Challenge newspaper, and Hope magazines would be preserved.  But How ?  God answered in the conversion of Mike Zbierski, an information technology professional, under Franklin Graham at Football Park. ‘ Send me articles by E-mail, and I will create a web site. Add your Bible studies, and let’s see what God can do! ‘

For two years, Mike and his staff, have maintained this site, presently through Ashley Hill.  He established also a web site usage statistics,  which informs us of the hourly , daily and monthly usage around the world.  This tells which countries are using the site and how much they absorb of the studies available.

The web site includes God’s plan for salvation in 16 languages , allowing the seeker to read the plan of Christ’s salvation in their own mother tongue.

I have advised some churches of the site; have stamped small cards with www.biblestories.stellaris.com.au  christian family bible studies & stories; offered them to checkouts in shopping marts; and stamped all correspondence with the above.

It pleased God by the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.  Presumably, overseas readers have used search engines, to direct them.  

God initiated and sustained this simple programme.  We walk by faith, not by sight.

Will you as a bible teacher or successful preacher of the Word consider releasing some of your God-given treasures from your study of the Word for a waiting world?  Are your computer files bursting at the seams, with glorious truths, which will be your legacy? Are you waiting for a means of transmission before our Lord’s glorious return?

Most churches have IT exponents, who can create an internet site.  So, you include them in the ministry of making Christ known.

Are you  proficient in South East Asian  languages, Indonesian or Malay, Philippine, Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Mandarin or other Chinese dialects, Korean, Japanese? The Lord may have reserved His richest blessing for you to expand your ministry through the satellite facility.  Consider the impact of your searching studies in the language, which you have acquired, to enrich the isolated, who have few, if any, theological resources.   How the subcontinent would be enriched by those who know Indian, Pakistan and Bangladesh dialects and joyfully release such treasures to thousands of pastors, bible teachers and millions of believers.  Through the internet.

Many Australian believers have European and Scandinavian languages, and excel in French, German, Polish, Russian, Ukraine, Greek, Turkish, Kurdish, Spanish, Portugese, Italian, Latvian, Norwegian, or Swedish .  Some have University expertise in these languages.  Create your personal web site  or for your ethnic church. Take the Word of God and evangelise from your PC. or laptop computer.

You need no passport,  injections, nor inconvenience. Realise the supreme joy of soul-winning in your mother tongue without moving away from your comfortable study. 

The vast continent of Latin America can be reached in Portugese ( Brazil) and Spanish for all the other  countries.  Create your own pulpit through satellite. Select an acceptable title, which search engines can readily furnish.

The usage statistics give only monthly figures ( not annual ) for each country of the hits ( logging onto the web site) and files ( that is the number of bible studies, family or children’s articles read.) 

Ask your evangelical, Bible-loving churches to pray for and support your programme; inform men and women’s Bible conventions in each country, providing them with the web sites which will enhance their walk with the Lord.

Notify the great missionary movements that web sites are available.

Inform isolated missionaries of such sites so that they may freely drink  of the fountains of truth in God’s holy word. Man has put the satellites in place.  God has given the glorious gospel to preach – and teach.  Use the available facilities  for His eternal glory.  GO INTO ALL THE SATELLITE WORLD and preach the gospel.
