GOD RESPONDS TO GLOBAL WARNING WITH SNOW & ICE in NORTHERN HEMISPHERE

God will not be mocked.    He responded to the Copenhagen conference on climate change with the worst snow/ice coverage of Europe and United States of America in thirty years.

Business life has been suspended: schools are closed, where transport of teachers and students is impossible. In less affluent countries, seniors will perish with the unbearable frozen conditions.

The Scripture says, ‘God will laugh and have them in derision.’

Roads are impassable in United Kingdom and Europe, stranding cars and trucks.    UK is short of salt

(despite the surrounding ocean).    Salt mixed with ice facilitates the thaw.   Governments cannot foresee what the eternal One will do with His glorious universe. Rescue work or emergency calls for ambulances is impossible.. Helicopters are life-saving.    Perishables on the trucks are preserved by the intense cold: God’s mercy is tempered with a resounding sense of humor that man can foolishly intrude God’s province. We are frail- and powerless, while He is omnipotent.

Strewn sleeping at air ports with cramped facilities for food, drinks, comfort. Air Controllers dare not release aircraft with inadequate control facilities.     Soccer the football ‘god’ of many nations is suspended while the sporting areas are iced over. God’s creatures the birds have safely secured themselves in their nests; and animals in their dens. Man is not Lord of creation.    Our God is!

The highly-promising train service for UK and France, Europe has ground to a halt.    They cannot traverse tracks covered with dense snow/ice.   

I Am the Lord.       I inhabit eternity.

Every snow flake is God’s creative miracle.     Moody Institute of Science presented ‘the treasures of the snow.’   Each snow flake is six-sided (that is hexagonal).    Design of each flake is variable, intricate, symmetrical, so that none duplicate, while innumerable snow crystals grace the countryside.    God doesn’t require copyright law to protect His sovereignty.    The children throw a fist full of snow particles, each of which displays this extraordinary characteristic of elaborate design.     The Lord chose snow/ice to dignify HIMSELF after this ineffective man-saturated talkfest at Copenhagen.

I commend www.snowcrystals.com , which marvelously portray a range of crystals, recording history of their discovery, which delineates each magnificent crystal.    Special photography captures the crystal majesty.     This startling creative truth has been overlooked.   

A worldview that incorporates all that God is can appreciate the comical, farcical, political-coup and God’s, snow-capped, visible, magnificent rebuttal.    He perfectly monitors His universe.

Why did God use snow to describe His appearance and His finished soul work in our lives?

‘After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John and led them up on a high mountain and was transfigured before them.    His clothes became shining, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them, ’Mark 9:2.    When a surface is snow-covered, its beauty transcends all other - His clothes reflected the glory of the natural sun especially in the rarified atmosphere of a lofty mountain.   The beauty of Christ shone through, underlying are the snow crystals, which the Lord as Creator designed, maintained and rejoiced to see His creative magnificence.    The disciples would not be aware of the beauty of snow crystals, only visible through our microscopes.    Christ is contrasted with man, His creation, as a launderer.    Christ is infinitely greater than His created beings: we could not fashion one snow crystal. Let alone the millions HE perfects. in every handful.   

I first saw snow in Nazareth during a WW11 hospital stay, as it would be grasped by Galilean followers.

Prime Minister Daniel described the Lord hundreds of years before HE came from heaven to be born of the Virgin Mary. ‘I watched till thrones were put in place, and the ANCIENT OF DAYS was seated, His garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head was like pure wool.    His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire.    Thousand thousand ministered to Him, Ten thousand times ten thousands ministered to Him‘.    9:7. Consider the provocative ‘His garment white as snow.’   Daniel would not have known but the Holy Spirit knew well that millions of millions crystals contributed to the irradiated snow-like glory which clothed the Lord of glory. God’s Spirit chose snow not diamonds, which are garnered from alluvial soil: but snow that fell from heaven, not contaminated by earth’s atmosphere.     Such treasures deepen our love for the Holy Scriptures, and for the beloved Lord of glory. Who designed each of these magnificent, perfect displays of his creative mastermind...? At our eternal peril, we reject each of these subtle yet real evidences of heavenly perfection.    Our Lord is beautiful to gaze upon: as we shall spend eternity drinking in the loveliness of His majestic glory. White as snow!

John’s Revelation graphically pictures the Lord. ‘In the midst of the seven lamp stands one like the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to His feet, and girded about the chest with a golden band. His head and His hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire.’ 1:14   His head and hair reflected the dazzling glory of the snow ; its multi faceted crystals , each uniquely designed, the multiplicity of patterns - all reflected the glory of the ONE who has captured the heart of John the beloved disciple, who leaned on the Lord’s breast at the Lord’s supper.    Unashamedly, HE is our Creator and Savior

Please observe the territories under frozen restraint.     God deliberated in His selection of the nations.

Europe is icily demobilized; E U (European Union) embraced the convention intending to govern nations financially through their plutocracy (or bureaucracy).    They were thwarted; God passed a censure note in His universal snow campaign.

United States of America shared the similar vision for usurping government uncertainty through such an international convention.    She is humiliated with the deposit of snow beyond record, evidence of the Father’s meteorological rebuke.     I include our beloved nation, Australia.    Our Prime Minister anticipated implementation of government  plans to economically involve our nation.    He was accompanied by an immense support team, which impotently silently observed the farcical procedures.    After a year of drought, God sent floods such as we have not known for a generation, to the delight of the landowners, and embarrassment of the government.

‘Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow’ is a valuable, additional thought.    The difference of our messy, unprincipled, outrageous sins is represented by the colour of scarlet, the deep dye which deformed us, colouring our thoughts and activities.    However, they contrast with the magnificent assurance they shall be as white as snow. Isaiah 1; 18     God has consistently created crystalline snow to display His magnificent holy character in the forgiven pardoned sinner.    The eternal God affirms that your regenerate life is characterized by the constitution of the snow.

Snow offensive is God’s solemn, undeniable, irrefutable judgment on rebel nations, defying His sovereignty.

Crown HIM with many crowns the Lamb on His throne.    He is WHITE AS SNOW.    HE alone is worthy!
